Important information regarding surcharges

We apply fixed rates to and from Schiphol Airport. A surcharge may apply in the following situations:

• Last-minute booking: Do you need a taxi for the next day? Then please book before 18:00. If you book after 18:00, a surcharge of €10 applies.
• Announced strikes: A surcharge may be calculated for diversions or extra traffic congestion caused by strikes.
• Extreme weather conditions: In the event of snow or ice, a weather surcharge may apply for safety reasons and due to extra travel time.
• Surcharge for extreme diesel price increases: This is only applied when fuel prices are extremely high.
• Public holidays: On New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday and Monday, King’s Day, Liberation Day, Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Monday, and Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we charge a public holiday surcharge.

This ensures you remain clearly informed in advance about any potential extra costs.
